We will dedicate most of our time to Balchik, Thracian settlement, Greek with the name Dionysopolis, later Geek-Byzantine and Bulgarian fortress, the city was dedicated to the God of Wines. During Romania’s administration, the Balchik Palace was the favourite summer residence of Queen Marie of Romania, where she constructed a castle, more like an oriental villa. The Balchik Palace and the Balchik Botanical Garden are the town’s most popular landmarks and a popular tourist destination.
